I think we have entered the most difficult part of parenting. This is where everything I did and didn't do comes flooding back to me. This is where I begin to question my parenting and decisions. This is where I desperately need guidance and help to proceed. These are the tween years.
The last year, Jacob progressed from a very extroverted little boy to a much more reserved tweeny-bopper. The natural changes during this time seem unnatural to me. Its even more difficult while trying to help him navigate it as I am a female. He is caught between boy and man now and the change from one to another can flip as fast as a light switch. The worst part is, I know this is just the beginning.
